Bangladesh Meteorologi-cal Department predicted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall by one to two degree Celsius over the country, said a Met office bulletin issued in Dhaka on Friday morning.
“Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” the bulletin added.
Maximum temperature of the country on Thursday was recorded 34 degree Celsius in Cox’s Bazar under Chattogram division while Friday’s minimum temperature was 14.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
