Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country.
The day temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” said a met office press release on Thursday.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Thursday was recorded 41 mm at Barishal.
