GM Niaz Murshed of Dhaka Mohammedan secured 4.5 points after the end of 6th round games and shared the 2nd position along with other 5 players in the DYTM Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah KL International Open Chess Championships is now being held in Olympic Sports Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Gopalganj Chess Club earned three points and Anisuzzaman Jewel of Golden Chess Club bagged two points after 6th round today.
In the day’s 6th round, Niaz split points with GM Bitoon Richard of Philippines, Fahad beat IM Borsos Bogdan of Ukraine and Justin Ong Way of Malaysia got walkover against Jewel.
