Newspaper office attacked in N’ganj

Hoodlums attacked a local daily newspaper in Narayanganj following the publishing of Tanvir Muhammad Twaki’s murder news. It was alleged that the attack was carried out by supporters of Ajmeri Osman, son of late MP Nasim Osman.
On Saturday noon, the office of ‘Daily Somoyer Narayanganj’ newspaper was attacked in Chashara of the city. At that time, the
 
terrorists vandalized the CCTV camera of the office. They also threatened to shoot the editor.
Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Azizul Haque Hawlader, confirmed the news to the New Nation last night saying that: “We are trying to identify the attackers by inspecting the scene, collecting evidence and looking at the video footage.”
