A view exchange meeting on anti-corruption was held at Upazila Health Complex Auditorium recently. Upazila Anti-corruption Committee officials and doctors at Gafargaon Upazila Health Complex at Gafargaon under Mymensingh took part in the meeting recently. To create awareness against corruption among people from all walks of life , attended this meeting . Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer ,Dr.Alam Ara presided over the view exchange meeting . Dr.K.M.Ehsan, President of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-corruption committee was the chief guest in the meeting. H.Kabir Titu, General Secretary of Anti-corruption committee presented the meeting. Member of Duduk, Golam Mahmud Faroki, Md. Ajim Uddin Master, Vice-president Md. Rafiqul Basar, Upazila Health Visitor Md. Abul Khaier, Sanitery Inspector Md. Abdul Kuddus, delivered their speeches on this matter in the society.
Tree Fair begins
A 3-day tree fair and plantation week has began here on Sunday at Gafargaon upazila under Mymensingh. Local MP Fahami Golandaz Babel inaugurated the tree fair as a chief guest. UNO Shiddharta Shonkor Kundu presided over the inaugural ceremony. Many stalls were set up and many kinds of species plant and trees were displayed. After visiting the stalls, the meeting was held in the premises of Zila Parishad Dak Banglu. At least 40 stalls of fruits , herbal,medicinal and illustrative tree were set up in the fair. The chief guest urged the people students and others to plant more trees to protect our ecological balance. Upazila chairman Asraf Uddin Badal, Pouro Mayor Md.Ikbal Hossain Sumon, AL leaders people of all walks of life attended the fair.Students are asked to plant more trees in their abandoned places.
View exchange meet on corruption held in Bagerhat Press Club

Under the auspices of Sadar Upazila administration in Bagerhat district a meeting for exchange of views with journalists, NGO officials and elites of the town was held in Bagerhat Press Club on Tuesday morning with Prof. ABM. Mosharraf Husain, Vice-president of SANAC (Sachetan Nagarik Committee), Bagerhat and Bagerhat district based correspondent of The New Nation in the chair to make the Upazila administration free from corruptions. In the address of welcome Sharif Nazrul Islam, Upaziala Nirbahi Officer of Bagerhat Sadar explained the plans taken by the Upazila administration and sought the suggestions from the audiences to make the anti corruption programme a success.
