Unemployed youth commits suicide in Ashulia

A dead body was recovered by Ashulia police at Narsinghopur area of Ashulia on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Abdul kader, 27, son of Nurul Islam of Fulhari village of Sherpur district. Police recovered dead body from a rental house of Motahar Mirdha under Narsinghopur area. Deceased family said, because of being unemployed family quarrel was continued with him. They supposed that for this reason he committed suicide. Ruhul amin, Sub-Inspector of Ashulia police station confirmed the matter and said dead body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy and a UD case was filed in this connection with Ashulia police station.

Body of missing college student recovered

Dead body of a college student who has been missing from village home was recovered by the police from a bushy land in the village Rajapur within Bemarta Union under Bagerhat Sadar Upazila on Monday night after 4 days of his missing. In this connection one person was arrested by the police. The dead body was identified as Al-Amin alias Raja (18) son of one late Belal Shaikh of village Uttar Raghunathpur within the same union and a student of Class-XI of Depaara Belayet Hossain Degree College under the same Upazila. Police and the family source of the deceased said that in the evening on March Al-amin received a mobile phone and went out of his house. But he did not return home. Search was made hither and thither but no trace of the student was found. On March 8, Yasmin Begum, mother of the deceased lodged a GD with Bagerhat Model PS. Following the GD Police arrested one Humayun alias Liton Gazi (20) of village Rajapur within Bemarta Union after trucking mobile number of Al-Amin and according to the statement of Liton Gazi thje dead body of Al-amin was recovered from a bushy land on Monday nighnt. The deed body was sent to Bagerhat morgue for its autopsy.

Govt books recovered at Gafargaon
Gafargaon (Mymensingh) Correspondent:
Some 106 copies government book have been recovered from a shop given for distribution free at secondary level at Gafargaon under Mymensingh on Saturday noon. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md.Mostafa Kamal got the information that a book shop is selling government books at Hospital Road selling books and he rescued these books from stuttering shop and took books at his office. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md.Mostafa Kamal said, the headmaster involved in selling books has been given show cause notice. UNO Md.Rejaul Bari said, the liable Headmaster has been summoned.

Training on livestock held in Chapainawabganj

A two- day long training workshop on livestock for the paravits was held in Chapainawabganj on Sunday and Monday. Agriculture Sustainable and Socio-Economic Development Organization (ASSEDO) arranged the workshop under its Nadi O Jibon -2 project with the association of Concern Worldwide at the office of ASSEDO at Shibtala in the town. District Livestock Officer ATM Fazlul Quader Mollik, sadar upazila livestock officer Dr. Saiful Islam, executive director of ASSEDO Md. Rabiul Alom and technical officer of Jobs Bangladesh Md. Harunur Rashid were present as resource persons. Training was imparted on different issues like animal rearing, beef fattening, poultry rearing and injecting cows, goats, ducks and hens.

Motorcyclist killed in road crash in Kulaura

A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Robirbazar area of Kulaura Upazila in the district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Abed Ahmed, 36 son of late Abdul Mannan of Raotgaon village under Kulaura Upazila of the district. Witnesses said a rashly driven driver uncontrolled the Microbus hit him when he crosses the road with drive the motorcycle under Kulaura-Robirbazar road. On the spot he dead.Contacted, Office-in-charge of Kulaura Police station Md. Hasanuzaman said, in that cause locals people observed road blocked for one hour.
