Missing girl rescued after 10 days

Gafargaon police have arrested a youth named Sajib (20) who abducted a secondary school student 10 days after the abduction at Gafargaon under Mymensingh. He was sent to jail through Mymensingh court on Thursday morning. According to police sources, the abductor Sajib abducted a ninth grade student of Rasulpur Girls’ High School from Barbara area of Rasulpur Union of the upazila on May 9 (Monday) and took her to an unknown place. 10 days after the abduction, the abductor fell into the trap of the police. Gafargaon Police Station OC Investigation Anwar Hossain said Sajib, who was abducted in a case of abuse of women and children at Gafargaon Police Station, was arrested and sent to Mymensingh Jail through a court.
Man held with gold bars in Jashore

Members of Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested a man with 124 pieces of gold bars from Chowgacha upazila of Jashore district Friday morning. Lieutenant Colonel Shahed Minhaj from the BGB-49 confirmed the matter at a press conference this afternoon.
The detainee was identified as Shah Alam, 35, hailed from the upazila. Shahed Minhaj said, on information, they stopped a motorcycle in Shahjadpur area and nabbed Shah Alam. The BGB men discovered the pieces of gold bars weighing about 14.45 kilograms after searching him. The BGB men also seized the motorcycle and a mobile phone from his possession and a case is being processed to file in this connection, the BGB official added.
Top drug dealer held in Bijoynagar

The arrested was identified as Md Salam alias Shahalam, 45, son of late Feroz Miah of Mukandapur village in Paharpur UP. The fugitive notorious drug dealer is Md. Shanu Mia (33), son of Md. Farid Mia of Jalilpur village in Paharpur UP. Paralyzed patient provideda calf

Village Vision, a voluntary organization, assisted Tafer Ali, a paralyzed patient lying on a bed in Tarash, Sirajganj, with a calf. Organized by Village Vision after Jumma prayers on Friday. He went to Binsara village of Baruhas union of the upazila with the financial support of Sukh Pakhi Sirajganj and handed over the calf along with the executive director of the organization Sharif Khondakar and volunteers.
