The Dainik Ishwardi News has celebrated its second year and its third year. A discussion meeting, cake cutting and awarding of crest was organized at Ishwardi Pulses Research and Regional Agricultural Research Auditorium on Thursday. UNO PM Imrul Kayes was the chief guest on the occasion. Director of Pulses Research and Regional Agricultural Research Center Dr. presided. Mohiuddin Ahmed. Special guests on the occasion were Pabna District Education Officer SM Moslem Uddin, Bir Muktijoddha Fazlur Rahman Fantu, Ishwardi Press Club President Prof Swapan Kumar Kundu, Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakli and Samra UP Chairman Emdadul Haque Rana Sardar. Drug dealer arrested with cannabis

Pagla Police under Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh have arrested a drug dealer with four kilograms of cannabis. The name of the arrested drug dealer is Siddique (51). He is the son of late Azim Uddin of Bhasharbari area in Usthi union of the upazila. Pagla police station ( OC ) Rasheduzzaman said police raided the house of the arrested drug dealer Siddique and arrested him from his residence at around 3pm on Friday with about four kilograms of cannabis. There are more than 5 drug cases against drug dealer Chiddik. He was sent to the wise court after questioning on Saturday afternoon.
