The road has been constructed at the initiative of Santahar Municipality in memory of Bazlul Kabir Masum, former Municipal Councilor and former BCL leader and late Municipal Councilor. Hundreds of pedestrians pass through this road every day at the station, Saheb Para, tea garden pedestrians commute daily. The Santahar municipality decided to build the road at a time when efforts were being made by Masum, a councilor from the late Ward 8, and others. The road has seven seats and seven electric lightposts. Georges Alam Ratan, panel mayor of Santahar municipality, said the late councilor and former BCL leader had played a key role in building the road. He used to talk about the construction of this road in every municipal meeting.
