Reception accorded to new MP

The Managing Committee, teachers and students of Madhabpur GKS Junior Girls’ School of the upazila arranged a reception to Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz MP of 64 Sirajganj 3 constituencies on Friday . President of Sadar Union Awami League and President of the newly elected Managing Committee of the School Rezaul Karim presided over the function.
Among others, Upazila Awami League President Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Abdus Samad Khandaker, co-president and Baruhas UP chairman Moktar Hossain Mukta, co-president and who was nominated for the boat in Saguna Union Parishad election Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League Former President and former Chairman of Upazila Parishad Abdul Haque, Joint General Secretary and Women Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Lecturer Morzina Islam, President of Upazila Juba League, Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of Upazila Parishad Anwar Hossain Khan, General Secretary and Former Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Farhad Ali Bidyut, General Secretary of the Volunteer League Lutful Kabir Limon, General Secretary of the National Four Leaders’ Council Seraj Sarkar and Chhatra League President Iqbal Hasan Rubel.
Farmers training held in BINA

A day-long training was organized on intercropping and cultivation techniques of mustard ,almond , sesame crops at the Bangladesh Atomic Agriculture Research Institute (BINA) Tajhat sub-center on Thursday. The Chief Guest was internationally renowned scientist Binar Director General Mirza Mofazzal Islam virtually present, Deputy Director of the project was present as a special guest Reza Mohammad Emon.
Distinguished guest was Md. Obaidur Rahman Mandal, Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture Extension, Rangpur. Dr. Muhammad Ali was the special guest in the presidency of the officer in charge of the sub-center, Dr. Bobby’s chief scientific officer. Ashish Kumar Saha, BADC Deputy Director (Seed Marketing) Md. Asaduzzaman Khan, Binar Scientific Officer Md. Mahmudul Hasan and Motabber Rahman, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Alamgir Hossain, Farmer Md. Matiar Rahman (Mithapukur) Md. Ismail among others spoke at the training program. Hossain (Pirgachha) etc. It was attended by 75 people including Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer, Krishak Krishani.
