Holy Quran, blankets distributed

The Holy Quran Sharif and winter clothes were distributed among more than one hundred people free of cost at the initiative of SAARC Human Rights Foundation in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Sunday . The humanitarian aid was distributed in the presence of Secretary General of the SAARC Human Rights Foundation Prof Maulana Abed Ali at Alinagar Government Primary School ground premises in Budhanti UP. Media Wing Ishtiaq Al Amin, Vice President of the organization Mohammad Raj, Khatib of Srishti Seba Foundation Maulana Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, General Secretary of Srishti Seva Foundation spoke as special guests on the occasion. Other speakers were Upazila Juba League President Rafiqul Islam Master, General Secretary of Press Club Md. Ziadul Haque Babu, Md. Shamim Ahmed, Abdul Aziz, President of Alinagar Youth Welfare Association Abdur Rauf, Organizing Secretary Moin Uddin Sumon. Chairman of Bangladesh Election Monitor Forum Prof. Maulana Mohammad Abed Ali said that besides government initiatives, he also appealed to all concerned for private humanitarian assistance. Alinagar Youth Welfare Association assisted in the overall programme.
Muktijoddha Complex inaugurated

Jashore Sadar Upazila Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban was inaugurated at Loan Office Para in Jashore Town on Monday . Freedom Fighter Affairs Minister A K M Mozammel Haque MP inaugurated the Muktijoddha Complex financed by LGED at the cost of Tk. 2 cr 81 lakh 40 thousand 775 only. The inaugural function was presided over by LGED Upazila Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban Project Director Abdul Hakim. Among others, State Minister for Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives Swapon Bhattchaya, Jashore Sadar-3 MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner(DC) Jashore Tamizul Isram Khan, Executive Engineer (LGED) Jashore AKM.Anisuzzaman, Police Super Jashore Pralay Kumar Joardar, UNO SM Munim Lincoln and Upazila Engineer Nazmul Huda were present there. Executive Engineer (LGED) Jashore AKM.Anisuzzaman told that three- storied building of Muktijoddha Complex was erected at loanoffice para in Jashore town financed by LGED .Whose Estimated cost was Tk. 2 crorres 81 lakh 40 thousand 775 only. There are a murals of Father of the Nation was also erected, Fire extinguishing system, Solar power, a total of 12 Shops, A Library was set up for the history of Muktijoddha and a conference room was also erected at this complex. Executive Engineer Anisuzzaman also said that The complex includes all modern facilities including the movement facilities of war wounded freedom fighters and detainees.
