Winter clothes distributed

Bank conducts various social activities throughout the year as part of its social responsibility. As an extension of that we have distributed winter clothes to the vulnerable people of Faridpur at the beginning of the season. These activities will be continuing in the future.

 Deputy Commissioner (DC) Atul Sarkar in his speech at the winter blankets distribution programme said that at the height of the Coronavirus pandemic we had distributed food to every household in need and similarly now we will distribute winter clothes to all the vulnerable families around the country. Deputy Managing Director of Premier Bank Limited Syed Nowsher Ali stated that they have served the common people with banking services for 22 years.

BNP rally in Rangpur

 A rally was organised by BNP and its front organizations at the party office at Grand Hotel Morsh in Rangpur City demanding BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s treatment abroad on Monday afternoon.
Leaders at the rally said that, fearing to let the opposition stand the top leaders including the BNP chairperson have been detained in false and conspiratorial cases.

Mahanagar BNP Senior Vice-President Samsuzzaman Samu, General Secretary Shahidul Islam Mizu, joint General Secretary Anisur Rahman Laku, Mahanagar Juba Dal Organizing Secretary Zahirul Islam Nayan and others spoke at the rally. Leaders and activists of Mahanagar BNP, Juba Dal, Chhatra Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and other organizations were present at the time.

Pedestrian killed in Manikganj
Manikganj Correspondent

A pedestrian named Abdul Alim Khan (35) was killed in a head-on collision at Uchutia area of ManikganjSadar Upazila on Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Sunday.
Alim Khan died on the spot on Sunday morning. Highway police recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj District Hospital morgue.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Alim Khan, son of Jalil Khan of Jabra area in Baniajuri union of Ghiorupazila of Manikganj.
Golra Highway Police Officer-in-Charge Monirul Islam said Alim Khan was killed in a head-on collision with an unidentified vehicle heading towards Paturia in the morning.
