IFIC Bank to issue 500cr bond

IFIC Bank Ltd decided to issue Tk500 crore non-convertible coupon-bearing subordinate bonds.
The bank will issue the bond upon getting the approval of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and Bangladesh Bank (BB), it said in a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
Earlier in 2020, IFIC Bank offered a 5% stock dividend to its shareholders. The closing price of each of its shares was Tk16.5 during Tuesday’s session.
RICL’s Q2 earnings rise

The Q2 (April-June) earnings of Republic Insurance Company Limited (RICL) has increased by 70.27%.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk0.63 for the Q2 of 2021, up from Tk0.37 a year before.
Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk17.42 as of June 30, 2021, and Tk16.18 as of December 31, 2020.
Back in the year 2020, the insurance company offered 7% cash and 7% stock dividend to its shareholders. During Tuesday’s trade, the closing price for each of its shares was Tk63.
Global Business Summit in Dubai from Sept 29
