The Ansar & VDP Day Cup Golf Tournament kicks off on Thursday at Dhaka Cantonment Bangladesh Army Golf Club, said a press release on Sunday.
The three-day tournament divided into five categories including Senior, Junior, Regular, Ladies and Veteran.
In all, 650 amateur golfers, including some foreigners will take part in the tournament.
Director General of Bangladesh Ansar & VDP, Maj Gen Mohammad Nizam Uddin will inaugurate the tournament on Friday.
Although there will be no cash prize money for the amateur golfers, Ansar & VDP, the patron of the tournament, will handout hamper and trophy.
