3 arrested with 10, 000 Yaba in Barishal

Three drug peddlers arrested in Barishal and Wazirpur with about 10 thousand pieces of Yaba. Barishal Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mosharraf Hossain holding a press briefing at BMP office on Monday noon said on basis of secret information police recovered 9800 pieces of Yaba worth more than Tk 40 lakhs from Nasir Matubbar, 32, a passenger of cabin 347 of M V Parabat-11 launch anchored at Barishal port after reaching from Dhaka on Monday morning. Police also arrested Azim Hossain, 30, who came there to receive the consignment of the drug. One motorcycle and five mobile phones also recovered from them. Arrested Nasir informed that those was given by to him by Dildar Hossain of Coxsbazaaar for supplying to Azim. Police lodging a case under narcotics control act against the three accused handed over the arrested two drug peddlers to Kotwali police station and through court they sent to jail on Monday afternoon.

According to the direction of Upazila Anti-corruption Committee Satata Store is being run. To build up honesty and sincerity among young generation ,a view exchange meeting of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-corruption Committee with teachers ,students and elite persons of Kharua Borail High School auditorium.
One held with hemp in C’nawabganj
C’WABGANJ: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a young man along with one kilogram of hemp from Koylabari in Shibaganj upazila on Friday night. The arrestee was identified as Babul Islam Babu, 24, son of Arif Hossain Kalu of Saheb Nagar area.Tipped off that some drug traders gathered at a mango orchard, a team of Rab-5 raided the spot around 7:30am and arrested Babul along with the hemp worth Tk 30,000, said a Rab press release. A case was filed, reports UNB.
2 Rohingya men held with Yaba in Chandpur

Police arrested two Rohingya men along with 1500 Yaba pills from Kacha Colony in the district town on Thursday.The arrestees are Mizanur Rahman and Mohammad Russel. When the two young men were moving around suspiciously a team of police challenged them and recovered the Yaba pills after searching their bodies, said Nasim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandpur Model Police Station.
