Housewife commits suicide In Sharankhola

Fatema Begum (22), wife of one Obaidul Molla of village Uttar Tafalbari under Sharankhola Upazila in Bagerhat district committed suicide by hanging herself with a beam of her dwelling house on Thursday afternoon. Dilip Kumar, Officer-in-charge of Sharankhola PS told, the housewife committed suicide following a quarrel took place between her and her husband over mobile phone. The husband is residing in Dhaka in connection with his service. Being informed of the matter police rushed to the spot, recovered the dead body, prepared the present condition of the dead body and sent it to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital in the following morning for its autopsy.

Dr.K.M.Ehsan Adv. president of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-corruption committee presided over the view exchange meeting and General Secretary of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-corruption committee Md.Rafiqul Basar conducted the meeting. Fakie-e Matin, Abdul Hamid Bachhu, Ataur Rahman Mintu, H.kabir Titu, Md.Azharul Islam Uzzal, Sheikh Abdul Awal, Arshad Ahmed Asad, Md.Jahangir Alam, Md.Sabbir Kamal, Golam Mahmud Faroki,Fatema Khatun delivered their speeches on Anti-corruption.
Drug dealer held with 34 pieces of Yaba tablets

An operation team of CPB-2, Nilphamari, RAB camp conducted a drive in the Kamalupukari area of Madaya, under Boda thana of Panchagarh district at around 4:00 in the evening of 15/08/18, one drug dealer with 34 Yaba, arrested accused Mohammad Ismail (45), father deceased Sahib Ali, Sang-Kamalakururi, thana: Boda, district: Panchagarh. The legal system necessary for the above incident is under process.
Exhibition of hybrid calves held in Jashore

A day-long exhibition of hybrid calves was held at Shankarpur in Jessore town on Thursday. Jessore District Livestock Department and feed the future Bangladesh livestock production for improved nutrition of the USAID arranged the programme. Kalyan Kumar Faujder, Deputy Director, Khulna Divisional Livestock Department kicked off the inaugural session as the chief guest. Chaired by Dr Tapaneswar Roy, upazila livestock officer, Jessore sadar, the opening session was attended among others by Dr Bhabatosh Kanti Sarker, Jessore District Livestock Officer, Muhammad Nurul Amin Siddiguee, chief of party, feed the future Bangladesh livestock production for improved nutrition project and livestock officer Dr Abdus Salam. A total of 24 calves of different species were exhibited at the exhibition.
