 A view exchange meeting and taking oath on Anti-corruption was held at Gafargaon under Mymensingh recently. A view exchange meeting and taking oath on Anti-corruption was held by students, teachers at Ghagra, Uthory and Chipan High School and was visited Sotota Store at Gafargaon Upazila. To build up honesty and sincerity among young generation ,a view exchange meeting of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-corruption Committee with teachers ,students and elite persons of Ghagra, Uthory and Chipan high school auditorium. Headmaster Md. Abdus Samad presided over the meeting. Dr K M Ehsan ,president of Upazila Anti-corruption Committee spoke in the meeting as a Chief Guest. Rafiqul Bashar general secretary of upazila Anti-Corruption Committee conducted the view exchange meeting. Md.Ajim Uddin Master ,member of Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee Md Golam Mahmud Faroki, member of upazila Anti-Corruption Committee , Donation Member Md Farid Uddin delivered their speeches in the meeting. Dr.K.M.Ehsan ,president of Upazila Anti-corruption Committee spoke and administered the oath taking among students teachers in the view exchange meeting.
GPA-5 holders accorded reception

The authority of Jaf Loong Valley Boarding School a English Medium school accorded reception GPA-5 holders at Rikabi Bazar -located Poet Nazrul Auditorium in Sylhet City recently. In the ceremony, Founder of the Jaf Loong Valley Boarding School and Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Hafiz Ahmed Mojumdar addedress as chief guest. The ceremony held amidst cultural programmes including song, recitation and dance performed by students drawn from six campuses of ScholarÕs home such as main campus at Shahi Eidgah,Shibgonj campus ,Majortila campus, Patantula campus and South Surma campus. In the ceremony, Mr Mustaq Ahmed Polash spoke on behalf the guardians of JVBS, Deputy Director of Primary Education Sylhet division Mr. Tahmina Begum, Vice-Chairman of Hafiz Mojumdar Trust Prof. Dr. Kabir Chowdhury .
Driver killed in Baraigram road accident
Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent
A covered-van-driver Manik Hossain (32) was killed in a road accident in Baraigram under Natore district on last Tuesday morning. He was a son of Hasan Ali of the village Baushipara under Sarishabari upazila in Jamalpur district. The acting officer in charge (OC) of Bonpara Highway Thana G.M Shams-Nur said, covered-van was going from Dhaka to Natore. When the covered-van reached at Mohisvanga area of Baraigram upazila, the driver of the vehicle failed to control the vehicle. Then his vehicle hit with a road-side tree. As a result, he seriously injured. The fire service men of Natoer fire brigade rushed to the spot, recovered him and sent to the Natore Hospital. But he died there under treatment on Tuesday afternoon .  
Rajshahi College celebrates achieving top rank again

The teachers, students and other employees of Rajshahi College brought out a victory rally on the campus amid much enthusiasm and festivity on Saturday for achieving the first position among the government and private colleges across the country for its outstanding performance in different fields of the year 2018.On the occasion of National Education Week 2018, the National University (NU) authority announced the name of the college on Wednesday as the best college for its best academic performance.The college achieved its top position for the third time. However, the rally gathered in front of the college’s administrative building and paraded main streets in the city. The college Principal Professor Habibur Rahman presided over in it.
Over thousands of teachers, students and other officials took part in the procession.
