BRTA advocacy workshop held in Kishoreganj

Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) arranged an advocacy workshop with drivers at local Collectorate Staff Club Auditorium on Sunday. President Abdul Hamid Medical College Hospital Principal A.N.M Nowshed Khan attended as Chief Guest while Senior Magistrate Abu Taher Sayeed presided over . Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Md. Mujibur Rahman and CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito attended as special guest. It was addressed among others by Senior Assistant Director, BRTA Kishoreganj Circle Engineer Shafiqul Islam, Traffic Inspector M.A Karim, BRTA Inspector Saiful Islam, driver Md. Asaduzzaman, Military Sergeant Md Rafiq. At least 101 drivers participated the advocacy workshop.
Diamond Jubilee of Hazarihat School, College held

Hajarihat School and College of Kashiram Belpukur Union of Saidpur Upazila, on the completion of its 60 years, celebrated Diamond Jubilee through various programmes on Saturday. In the programme, old and new students participated in the procession with horse riding, traditional palanquin and different events of Bengali culture. A colorful rally, observing silence, the comments of invited guests, and memorabilia of former students, magic exhibitions and pleasant cultural programmes were held on Saturday. On that day the festival was inaugurated. On the first day of the two-day diamond jubilee celebration of the oldest educational institution, a grand event was organized at its premises. Chairman of the Board of Directors Mansoor Ali Chowdhury presided over the inauguration ceremony. Chief Guest, Whip of the Opposition Alhaj Shawkat Chowdhury MP. Saidpur Upazila Parishad Chairman Moksedul Momin and Saidpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bazlur Rashid, District Council Member Shamim Chowdhury, Khatamdhpur UP chairman Jewel Chowdhury and Kashiram Belpukur UP Chairman Enamul Haque Chowdhury spoke as the special guests. Principal of the Institution Lutfar Rahman Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech.
