The CBI has registered an FIR after 22 minors from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi were illegally taken to France by three travel agents last year in the garb of giving them rugby coaching and went missing, agency officials said here today.
The agency today carried out searches at the premises of the travel agents-Faridabad-based Lalit David Dean and Delhi-based Sanjeev Roy and Varun Choudhary-from where documents were seized, they said.
Two mass graves found in Raqa

Two mass graves containing dozens of bodies of civilians and Syrian troops killed by Islamic State jihadists have been found in the west of Raqa province, state news agency SANA reported Friday.
The bodies were discovered based on information provided by residents near Wawi in the west of the province, which borders Turkey. It said they had been executed.
Egypt court jails Morsi over insulting judiciary

An Egyptian court has convicted former Islamist President Mohammed Morsi and 18 others over insulting the judiciary, sentencing them to three years in prison.
Among defendants in the case are prominent rights activist Alaa Abdel-Fattah and political analyst Amr Hamzawy, both of whom were fined 30,000 Egyptian pounds ($1,688). Abdel-Fattah is serving a five-year sentence for taking part in an illegal protest in 2013. Hamzawy lives in exile.
Iran holds pro-govt rallies

Annual nationwide pro-government rallies were held in Iran on Saturday to mark the end of the unrest that shook the country in 2009, state media reported, a day after price protests turned political in a dozen cities.
State television showed a rally in the capital Tehran and marchers carrying banners in support of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Iran’s second largest city of Mashhad.
Hundreds of people took to the streets there on Thursday to protest against high prices and shouted anti-government slogans.
American shot dead in Mexico

A U.S. citizen was shot and killed in the Pacific resort town of Zihuatanejo in southern Mexico, authorities said Friday.
Guerrero state’s security coordinating group said in a statement the American tourist identified only by the first name Douglas was shot three times. No hometown or further details of the killing were provided.
Also in Guerrero, a masked gunman assassinated the mayor of the town of Petatlan. State police identified the mayor as Arturo Gomez Perez.
