Graphics design course inaugurated

Social Service Department and Access to Information (a2i) a project of Prime Minister Secretariat jointly arranged a three months long Graphics deign course among the madrasa students at local Collectorate Conference Hall on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended of chief guest while Deputy Director of Social Service Department Md. Rabiul Islam in the chair. It was addressed among others by ADC (Gen) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil as special guest, Senior District Information Officer Shamsul Islam, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Md. Abdul Wadud, Town Social Service Officer Salma Khanam, N.D.C & Megistrate Nazmul Haque Shomon, Principal Moulona Al-Hajj Md. Hefzur Rahman, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Senior journalist Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu, District Co-operative Chairman Humayun Kabir and Kamrul Islam. At least 100 madrasa students participates the 3 months course.
Winter clothes distributed among handicapped

More than one hundred blankets as winter clothes were distributed among handicapped arranged by ” Jago Mymensingh handicapped ” named an organization at Baldi village at Gafargaon Upazila under Mymensingh recently. Sangbadik Fakir A Matin , President of this organisation presided over the discussion meeting. General Secretary , Khairul Islam of this organization, social worker- Monuar Hussain Khuka, Jahangir Alam Member, Amir Haidar, Husne Ara addressed in the meeting. On the occasion of International Handicapped Day” , winter clothes were distributed .
