A teenae boy was electrocuted in Austagram upazila of Kishoreganj on Tuesday. Another teenage boy named Akram Mia (16) was injured in the incident.The incident too palce at a three storied building at Austagram Bazar in the noon when the two boys were working in the building. The victim was identified as Jibon Miah (14) son of Md. Giasuddin of Baghati village under the upazila.
Clothe distribution programmer

Bangladesh Puja Uddjapon Parishad, Kishoreganj District Unit arranged a cloth distribution programme among the 500 poor Hindu people at Local Kali Bari Preimise on Tuesday evening. Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended as Chief Guest while Hindu Kallan Trusti Senior Advocate Dholon Bhowmik in the chair. It was addressed among others by District Awami League Secretary Advocate M.A. Afzol, Ex. Principal Professor Rabindranath Chowdhury, G.P Bijoy Shankor Roy, Sadar UNO Abdullah Al Masud, Community Leader Narayan Datta Prodip, Journalist Sakha Uddin Ahmed Rajon and Community Leader Makhon Debnath. Chief guest and other guest were distribution cloth among the 500 poor people.
Indian injections recovered, one held

Some 1115 pieces Indian injection of intoxication worth Tk 3.5 lakh was recovered from Inter-city Varendra Express in Saidpur recently. The injections were recovered from the inter-city train by Railway Detective Police. One person was arrested for carrying out the injection during this period. Saidpur GRP Police said , the Varendra Express Train left Rajsahi on the way to Chilahati. At the time at 9 pm , Saidpur Railway Detective Police suspected a teenager with a black handbag. Later , under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Mohammad Abdul Momin, detective police recovered 1115 pieces of Buprenorphine injection from the black polythene of his hand bag. At this time, the teenager named Zakirul Islam (20) was arrested on charges of carrying them. Zakirul is the son of Golzar Rahman of Bagdora village under Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur. And the value of recovered injections is around Tk 3.5 lakh. OC AKM Lutfar Rahman confessed the recovery of 1115 pieces of Indian injections including the arrest of the teenager from the train. A case was filed in this connection.
Human-chain demanding whereabouts of missing person

Sabuj Mea (25) , a youth of Jawail village of Panchbag Union has been critically tortured by manpower trader and his hired terrorists at Gafargaon under Mymensingh on Tuesday noon . Later, Sabuj Mea has been missing for one month. The incident happened at Morolbari area of Tetulia village , Demanding exemplary punishment of the accused people from all walks of life arranged a human-chain in front of Panchbag Union Parishad for one hour at 11 am on Monday . The villagers demanded immediate arrest of the accused and besieged the Union Parishad.
In this incident , Shahidullah , father of the victim has filed a case at Gafargaon Thana against Jitu Mea ,member of Panchbag Union Parishad, Ali Newaj (Adam Bapari) of Paler Bazar village, terrorist Salim, Sajedul man of Chowka village including unknown 6/7 persons on the 19th September . Police arrested Ali Newaj and Swapon and sent them into prizon. After human-chain Shahidullah father of missing Sabuj, brother Rasel complained to journalists that manpower tarder and his paid terrorists killed Sabuj and threw his dead body into the river Brahmaputra but they flee the scene . Ak M. Mahbubul Alam ,OC of Gafargaon Thana said, they arrested two person filing a case of Shahidullah father of missing Sabuj against them as a plaintiff. Police are trying to arrest the rest of accused .
