Amal Fair begins in Jessore

A two-day Amal Fair, marking the 14th anniversary of death of Tebhaga movement leader Amal Sen, was kicked off at the ground of Bankri Government Primary School under Bagharpara upazila in Jessore on Tuesday.Amal Sen, founder president of Workers Party of Bangladesh was born at the residence of his maternal uncle at Auria in Narail on July 19, 1914 and died at Dhaka Community Hospital on 17th January, 2003.Elaborated programmes were chalked out to mark the death anniversary of the late leader. The programmes include placing of floral wreath at the grave, discussions, cultural sessions and a two -day fair. Anisur Rahman Mollik, polit bureau member, Workers Party of Bangladesh, was the chief guest in the discussion on the first day on Tuesday. Chaired by Iqbal Kabir Jahid, Polite Bureau Member, WP, the discussion was addressed among others by polit bureau members- Bimal Biswas, Mahmudul Hasan Manik, Mostafa Lutfullah, MP, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, MP, Tipu Sultan, MP and leaders of left leaning parties.
Digital Innovation, Dist -Branding Fair begins

A three day fair titled District Innovation and District Branding Fair- 2017 stated in all district headquarters and upazilas of hte country January 19-21 to district play on going ICT development successes and incorporative people with government digital activities. Kishoreganj District Administration arranged a Digital Innovation & Branding Fair at local stadium in the town and a colourful rally, display found, postering, colour flags marking the week. The fair playing an importent role in promoting governments future plans, partnering people in Implemenating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A discussion meeing on Digital Inovation & Branding held at local stadium ground on Thursday. Invention Director & Joint Secretary of Prime Minister Secretariate Md. Mostafizur Rahman attended as chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas in the chair. It was addressed among others by Additional Police Super Md. Rakib Khan, ADC (Education & ICT) Golam Md. Bhuiyan, ADC (G) Tarafder Md. Akte Jamil, D.E.O Md. Shajahan, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Motafa Kamal and Sadar UNO Abdullah-Al-Masud. At least 70 ICT stall sep-up in the fair. A colourfull rally brought out in the town led by Joint Secretary Mostafizur Rahman and D.C Md. Azimuddin Biswas.
BMA Press Conference held at Kishoreganj
Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Kishoreganj Unit organised a press conference at Kishoreganj Press Club Conference Room on Wednesday noon and demanded withdrawal of false case against Dr. T.R Joy a member of BMA. BMA, Kishoreganj Unit Senior Vice-President and Principal of President Abdul Hamid Medical College Hospital Dr. Nowshad Khan presided over the press conference. It was addressed among others by Former Health Director Dr. Deen Mohammad, BMA Unit General Secretary Dr. Abdul Wahed Badal, Dr. Anisur Rahman and Child Specialist Dr. Abdul Hye.
