View exchange meet on anti-corruption at Gafargaon

 A view exchange meeting was held at Gafargaon Railway Station recently. Upazila Anti-corruption Committee officials and Gafargaon Railway station Master and his officials at Gafargaon under Mymensingh took part in the view exchange meeting recently. The view exchange meeting was held to increase the standard service of passengers and prevent ticket black marketers including various corruption at the station. To create awareness against corruption among people from all walks of life at station attended the meeting. MdMuslem Uddin ,station master of Gafargaon Railway station presided over the view exchange meeting. Adv Dr. K.M. Ehsan, President of Gafargaon Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee was the chief guest in the meeting. Rafiqul Basar. Vice-president of upazila anti-corruption committee conducted the meeting. Ajim Uddin Master, member of upazila anti-corruption committee, Golam Mahmud Faroki, member of upazila anti-corruption committee, Sultan Ahmed, member of upazila anti-corruption committee , Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan, (in-charge) of Gafargaon Railway police outpost, Booking Assistant Mahbub Alam Rajib, Book stall businessman Md. Abdul Kaium delivered their speeches on corruption.
Medical camp held in Tangail

A seven day-long free medical camp was begun at Tangail to provide free medical services to poor patients specially detecting kidney and other diseases at early stage, providing primary treatment and distributing medicine free of costs on Satrurday. Voluntary organisation, Kidney Awareness Monitoring and Prevention Society (KAMPS) organised the “KAMPS Kidney Week -2016″ at Biswas Betaka, Old Bus Stand, Dhaka Road, Tangail. Kidney disease is known as a silent killer as because the disease shows no symptom until its damaged upto 70 to 80 percent. So KAMPS has organised the camp. As part of the weeklong program, a scientific seminar on ” Chronic Kidney Disease is a silent killer: how can we detect, manage early and prevent at early stage”, at the Tangail Press Club auditorium on Saturday afternoon.
International Disabled Day observed

Social Service Department, social organisations and Kishoreganj District Administration jointly arranged a colourfull rally, discussion, postaring, cultural function and distributing wheel chairs marking the International Disabled and National Disabled Day on Satureday . A discussion meeting on disabled people, SDG 17 goals in Bangladesh was held at Child Families Complex (Girls) in the town on Saturday. The programme was attended by DC Md Azimuddin Biswas as chief guest while Deputy Director of Social Welfare Md. Rabiul Islam chaired the meeting. Sadar UNO Abdullah Al Masud and Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Mojibur Rahman attended the programme as special guest.
