FFs of Rampal visit the mausoleum of Bangabandhu

A visit the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arranged by the Muktijoddha Command of Rampal on Monday. MP of Rampal-Mongla Constituency , Ex-KCC Mayor Alhaj Talukder Abdul Khaleq organised the programme and the freedom fighters of the upazila went to the mausoleum of Bangabandhu . Some 196 freedom fighters ,their wife ,their grand sons and daughters participated the tour . Reaching there , they jointly offered Fateha for the departed soul of the Father of the Nation . At this time , MP along with the freedom fighters prayed to the Almighty for the peace and prosperity of the country and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina . Muktijoddha Commander of Rampal Command Sk. Mojaffar Hossain , Secretary Kalipado Adhikary were also present with them.
Farewell accorded to Baraigram UNO

A farewell was accorded to Baraigram Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Natore district Md Ruhul Amin on last Thursday. On the occasion, a function was held at the auditorium of upazila parishad under the auspices of Baraigram upazila administration. This function was presided over by Upzila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mrs. Nasrin Banu. As special guests Bonpara Pouro Mayor KM Jakir Hossain, Baraigram Pouro Mayor Abdul Barek Sarder and Upazila AL Chairman Abdul Jalil PK were present in the function. It was addressed among others by outgoing UNO Md Ruhul Amin, Upazila Engineer Md Shahidul Islam, Principal Abdur Razzak Mollah, Baraigram Thana OC Sharier Khan, former Headmaster Gour Pada Mondol, Upazila AL Secretary Adv. Mizanur Rahman . Speakers in their lecture mentioned different good activities of outgoing UNO Md Ruhul Amin. He is going to Pabna District Administration as an Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC).
Minor girl drowns in Barguna
BARGUNA: A minor girl drowned in a ditch at Bukaboniya village under Bamna upazila of the district Thursday evening. The deceased was identified as Juyana, 3, daughter of Aasduzzaman Shogir of the village. Family sources said Juyana suddenly slipped into the ditch while she was playing on the bank of the water body. Later, the family members rescued her from the ditch. They rushed Juyana to Upazila health complex where attending doctor declared her dead. An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with local police station in this connection, reports BSS.
