The newly formed alliance of the 12 student organisations namely Anti-terrorism Student Unity has organised a road march on Dhaka University campus demanding punishment of culprits who attacked DUCSU VP Nurul Haque Nur and his associates on December 22.
Protesting the heinous attack, members of the student front held one-hour long road march around 3:30pm at the base of Raju Memorial on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, leaders of the 12 student organisations announced the formation of the organization-Anti-Terrorism Student Unity-to fight terrorism, communalism and autocratic forces on the campus.
The made the announcement at a press briefing at Madhur canteen of the university on Friday afternoon.The student organizations are: Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad, Bangladesh Chhatra Federation, Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, Bangladesh Chhatra Union, Biplobi Chhatra Moitri, Chhatra Federation, Biplobi Chhatra-Jubo Andolan, Pahari Chhatra Parishad, Samajtantrik Chhatra Front (Marxist), Nagorik Chhatra Oikya, Swatantra Joot and Chhatra Mancha.
