City Desk :The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works on Tuesday recommended taking effective measures to set up compulsory sewerage treatment plants (STPs) in all the urban development authorities and in the areas under their jurisdictions. The recommendation was placed at a meeting of the committee with Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, chairman of the committee, in the chair, said a press release, reports BSS.
