Dr David Simmons, Professor of Tourism of Lincoln University in New Zealand paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Monday at his office.
Assistant Prof of DU Tourism and Hospitality Management Department Muhammad Shoeb-Ur-Rahman and Lecturer Abdullah Al Muneem were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially possibilities of under-taking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on tourism between the Dhaka University and Lincoln University.
They also discussed about signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard soon.
