UNB, Dhaka :Law Minister Anisul Haq on Saturday said a new law will be enacted to prevent cyber crimes in the country. “There’ll be a new law soon to deal with cyber crimes,” the minister said while talking to reporters after inaugurating a boat race programme in the city’s Badda area.”As question arises among people over section 57 of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act, it will be scrutinised how much the issue is logical and then we’ll think to reconsider it, if necessary.”Presided over by Beraid Union Parishad chairman M Jahangir Alam, the programme was attended, among others, former State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Captain (retd) ABM Tajul Islam, MP from Dhaka-11 AKM Rahmat Ullah and Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Benazir Ahmed.
