Speakers at an international seminar on ‘Climate Change and Role of Aquaculture on Food Security’ called upon the students to come up with new innovation to face adverse impact of climate change.
The students must come forward with technological innovation to check carbon emission, the main source of climate change that has been fast upsetting the environment, they told the function held on Wednesday at the auditorium of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).
Chaired by Acting Vice-Chancellor Abul Hossain, the seminar was addressed among others by Education Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam Khan (N I Khan), Professors of Strung University, UK Dr. Dave Little and Dr. Fracis. District Fishery Officer Bilkis Begum presented a keynote paper.
Stressing the need for conducting lot of research N I Khan said research and innovation both are badly needed at the moment to face the challenges caused by the climate change.
