Constantinos S Gavriel has been appointed as the new general manager of Le Méridien Dhaka.
The luxurious five-star hotel made the announcement through a press release issued on Thursday.
Gavriel said: “I am thrilled to be joining Le Meridien Dhaka, and I am looking forward to working with the team to elevate the guest experience to the next level within this dynamic and growing market.”
He was the general manager of The Renaissance Aktau Hotel in Kazakhstan before being appointed by Le Méridien Dhaka.
He has also worked for the Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts in 2003.
The British national started his career as a business development executive at The Kensington Hilton in London and has held various positions within Marriott since 2011.
After working for 14 years in London, Gavriel’s first experience overseas began as cluster director of sales and marketing for Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.
Later, he worked in Abu Dhabi along with Russia and Kazakhstan.
