Chittagong Bureau :
New fare on city bus, tempos, mini buses will be realized from the passengers from October 3(today) in Chittagong .According to govt notifications, these enhanced fare will be realized from the commuters, Owners associations sources said. The decision was taken at a meeting of Chittagong District Road Transport Owners Group held on Thursday with its President Morshedul Alam in the chair.
The meeting decided minimum fare for these transports fixed Tk. 5 and subsequent per kilometer Tk.1.60 .General secretary of the owners group Abul Kalam Azad told that following the price hike of CNG , govt has announced increased fare for these public transports.
