Campus Report :
East Delta University (EDU) has launched its new permanent campus at Mozaffor Nogor of Nasirabad in Chittagong recently.
According to the university authority, at least 8000 students can study at the new campus of EDU. The stunning academic building consists of a beautiful duplex library storing upto 50,000 to 60,000 books, 11 modern engineering labs, and 100 well-lit and ventilated classrooms.
Following the international standard, each classroom has a maximum capacity of 35 students.
To encourage group study and discussions, the university has provided separate common rooms for girls and boys. Furthermore, there are segregated prayer halls and entertainment areas for female students.
Additionally, there are two spacious seminar rooms in which admission exams and class tests are regularly conducted. Despite the scorching heat, the students erase the stress from their mind the moment they step foot in the vibrant cafeteria.
The main center of attraction is the amphitheater which is rare and one-of-its-kind in Chittagong.
EDU’s founding Vice Chairman and the new campus’s CEO Syeed Al Noman states, “We sincerely focused on the development of the permanent campus within the timeframe given by the UGC. Despite many limitations, we ensured that the construction work never got stalled. Almost every day, curious visitors have paid a visit to our new campus which is a moment of joy for us.”
