As per the urgent decision of Gazipur District Dairy Farmers Association, a new full-fledged committee of its Kapasia branch was announced on Sunday.
Former MP Krishibid Muhammad Shahidullah and president of Kapasia Upazila Awami League, has been made president while Omar Faruqe has been made general secretary at the new committee. Advocate Rezaur Rahman Lashkar Mithu and Mizanur Rahman Pradhan have been made senior vice-presidents and AM Sharif Akand, Shahriar Sabuj, Anwar Hossain, Haji Siddiqur Rahman have been made vice-presidents and Mozzamel Haque and Sajjad bin Alam have been made joint general secretaries.
The new committee includes farmer journalist Mojibur Rahman, organizing secretary, co-organizing secretary Mehedi Hasan, treasurer Nazmul Haque, co-treasurer Monir Hossain, office secretary Alam Hossain, joint office secretary Al Amin, publicity and publication secretary Mamun, information secretary Rafiqul Hasan, A new 11-member committee has been formed including action secretary Mohsin Billah, religious affairs secretary Imran Hossain, farm affairs secretary Sharif Sarkar and women’s affairs secretary Sharifa Akter.
Kapasia Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Rasheduzzaman Mia, Gazipur District Dairy Farmers Association President Akram Hossain Badsha and General Secretary Mohammad Shahinur Islam Shahin were present on the occasion.
