New Bangladesh envoy to Kuwait makes courtesy call on President

Newly appointed ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait S M Abul Kalam made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here Monday.
During the meeting, the President reminded the ambassador that Kuwait is a potential manpower export market for Bangladesh and asked him to take steps so that Kuwait takes more skilled and semi-skilled manpower from Bangladesh, President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
He also asked the ambassador to work for the welfare of expatriate Bangladesh workers in Kuwait. The President advised him to take steps for boosting trade and investment between the two friendly countries.
Ambassador S M Abul Kalam sought cooperation and directives of the President for discharging his duty in Kuwait.
Secretaries concerned to the President were present.
