New anti-govt alliance ‘Gonotantra Mancho’ launched

‘Gonotantra Mancho’, a new alliance comprising seven political parties has been formed with a specific goal to expedite anti-government movement.
The newly formed alliance is not hatching any conspiracy, rather it will launch anti-government movement with an open announcement.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab announced the newly launched ‘Gonotantra Mancho’ at a press conference in the city’s Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Monday.
Components in the political alliance are Jatiya
Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) led by ASM Abdur Rab, Nagorik Oikya led by Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Biplobi Workers Party led by Syful Haque, Ganosamhati Andolon led by Junaid Saki, Gono Adhikar Parishad led by Dr Reza Kibria, Bhasani Anusari Parishad led by Rafiqul Islam Bablu and Rashtra Songskar Andolan led by Hasnat Qayum.
“We have formed the alliance with the specific goal in the current political context of the country. Our specific goal is to expedite the anti-government movement. The incumbent government has to go as the government has destroyed the country’s economy,” ASM Abdur Rab said in the press conference after floating the newly formed anti-government alliance.
The JSD chief also said that the alliance has specific reform proposals and demands regarding the state, constitution, constitutional institutions, and governance.
Among others, Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Biplobi Workers Party General Secretary Saiful Haque, Ganosamhati Andolon Chief Coordinator Zonayed Saki, Gono Odhikar Parishad Convener Reza Kibria; Bhasani Onusari Parishad Convener Rafiqul Islam and Rastro Sangskar Andolon Coordinator Hasnat Kaiyum were present during launching the alliance.
