Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI) has organized a nationwide series of Nutrition Science Fairs from Sunday. The purpose of this fair was to spread awareness among paramedics on the issue and provide them pertinent training. The 1,000 days following conception are very important for the health and future of a mother and her child.
From June 7 to September 3, Nestlé organized day-long Nutrition Science Fairs in 16 different locations nationwide. In Dhaka, the fair took place in Moyuri Community Center at Mirpur, White Hall Caters in Uttara, State Janakallyan Samity at Azimpur, and Angon Community Center at Mohammadpur.
12 other locations of Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, Rangpur, Comilla, Mymensingh, Fardipur and Barisal were held. 3,000 paramedics from all over Bangladesh were trained during the fair.
