A nephew has killed his uncle over distribution of sold land property money. This incident occurred at Baniabahu village in Jhenidah Sadar upazila on Monday noon.
The victim was identified as Sultan Mollah, 45 son of late Sahadot Mollah of the village.
Officer in charge (OC) Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury of sadar police station said, on Monday noon at around 12:30 pm Sulatan and Badsha Mollah locked into altercation over distribution of sold land property money. At the time his nephew Sukur Ali got angry and hit on his uncle’s head with a piece of brick. He died on the spot.
On information police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent to Jhenidah sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy.
A murder case has been filed in this connection No one was arrested as of filling the report.
