National Democratic Front, Jashore District Unit brought out a procession in Jashore town on Wednesday protesting at the government’s step of hiking prices of power and water.
The procession paraded the town after holding of rally in front of the party office at Pipepatti at noon.
The rally was addressed by Abdul Haque, president, Jashore district unit, Ashutosh Biswas, vice president and Hafizur Rahman, general secretary.
Speaker in the rally urged the government to cut extra prices of electricity immediately.
