Nazrul’s death anniversary observed in Manikganj

On the occasion of the 46th death anniversary of National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, various organizations of Manikganj organized various programs on Saturday.
The local and national level Nazrul-Pramila organization organized a discussion meeting and interesting cultural program at the Teota Zamindarbari at Teota under Shibalaya Upazila in Manikganj.
Bangladesh Primary Teachers Association Central Committee President Md. Atiqur Rahman presided over as the Chief Guest and prominent Nazrul-Pramila researcher Miazan Kabir was also present. Among others, Nazrul-Promila researcher agriculturist Rafiq Chowdhury, eminent educationist Prof. Abul Islam Sikdar, Teota UP Chairman Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Nazrul Promila Parishad joint Secretary Md. Habil Uddin spoke as special guests and Pramila Nazrul Smriti Preservation Parishad Vice President Mosleh Uddin Khan Majlis and others were participated in the function. Apart from this, Babul Rina Foundation organized various programs at Arichastha Rohan Library Auditorium to celebrate this day. Shivalay Upazla Executive Officer Md. Zahidur Rahman was the chief guest. Foundation Founder Journalist Babul Akhtar Manju presided. Founder of Rohan Library. Rafiqul Islam, noted musician Ratan Kumar Saha, poet Amjad Hossain Shabnam, Nazrul researcher Moin Biswas, ASM Ashraf Uzzaman, poet Samchul Alam, journalist Mohammad Younus Ali, Abu Saeed Chowdhury, Sayedur Rahman, painter Shishir Pal, etc. spoke.
