Bi-monthly recitation programme of Bangladesh Nazrul Abritti Parishad was held under the title Nazrul Abritti Utkarsho at Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum in the city’s Shahbagh area recently.
Chaired by Prof Shaila Ahmed noted Nazrul researcher Poet Abdul Muqit Chowdhury and Nazrul researcher-writer Anupam Hayat were present as invited guests at the programme.
President of Bangladesh Nazrul Abritti Parishad Nasim Ahmed, Prof Shaila Ahmed and Prof Abdur Rakib spoke on the occasion.
Directed by Mohammad Yusuf 20 recitation artistes recited Nazrul’s poems in the programme.
Including Nasim Ahmed, of behalf of the Abritti Parishad Maruf Sharif, Mafruza Akhter Setu, Atondrila Ahmed, Nurem Mahpara Prapti, Razia Sulatana Daisy, Mahmuda Akhter, Salamn Nur, Noman Bashar, SM Asad, Mostafa Sharif Farhad, Mridu Gomez, Lutfa Begum, Mumtahina Tamjin Rekha and among children Humaira Mostafa, Dania Islam, Momtahina Tabassum, among others, took part in recitation in the programme.
