Md Nazmus Salehin appointed as new independent director of Standard Bank Limited. Board of Directors of SBL appointed him in its 269th meeting, said a press release. Prior to this post Salehin worked for the Bank as Managing Director.
After completion of Masters in Physics from Dhaka University, Nazmus Salehin started his banking career with Sonali Bank in 1979 as a Probationary Officer. In his 37 years long banking career, he capitalizes the opportunities to be associated with three major nationalized commercial banks like GM of Sonali and Agrani Bank and DMD of Janata Bank. His imaginative sense and inspired leadership combined with understanding knowledge and practical experience led to continuous and sustainable growth in every organization he worked for.
