Md Nazmul Haq , Assistant Secretary of Central Sub-committee of Banngladesh Awami League and former Chhatra League leader has been conducting campaign and public relation activities among the local people of Dhaka -18 (Uttara) Constituency for a long time with a view to get nomination from the ruling Awami League .
While talking to this correspondent he said, I had been involved in students’ politics and during Ershad regime I played an active role in the streets . he further said, I believed in the ideology of Bangabandhu . I want to work for the Awami League to strengthen the hands of Sheikh Hasina .
In the meantime , he hanged posters in the area and attended a different programmes in the areas to introduce himself as an aspirant candidate . Nazmul Haq has been working for the development of the ares in different ways. Former home minister Advocate Shahara Khatun was elected Member of Larliament from this seat in 2008 and 2014 .
