Mahmudul Alom Nayon (Janokantha) and Arif Rehman (SATV) were elected as President and General Secretary respectively by general election for 2020 new committee to run the organisation by systematic way.
The election was held at the press club premises on Thursday with much enthusiasm as the voter cast their vote to the eligible candidates who will perform their demand as well as wish without any subterfuge.
Md Abdus Salam Babu (Alo Protidin), Abdul Mottalib Manik (Kaler Khobor) and SM Kawsar (Samokal) have also elected as vice president of the committee. On the other hand , Sajedur Rahman Siju (Alo Protidin) and Sajjad Hossain Pollob (Provater Alo) have been elected as Joint secretaries . Safiul Alom Komol (Janokantha) departmental secretary, Komolesh Mohonta Treasury secretary, Meherul Saju (Jamuna TV) Culture and Literature Secretary, Sport Secretary Ilias Hossain (Bhorer Darpon) and H Alim Library Secretary have also elected respectively.
