Bangladesh Navy and Faridpur district team reached the final of the ATN Bangla Gold Cup 30th National Hockey Competition on Sunday.
In the day’s first semi-final, Bangladesh Navy defeated Bangladesh Army by 5-3 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium. Mainul of Bangladesh Navy scored three goals with a hat-trick and his teammates Krishna, Jimmy netted one goal each.
On the other hand, Rokonuzzaman, Shuvo, Milon of Bangladesh Army successfully struck one time each on the board.
In the day’s second semi-final, Faridpur district team came from behind and beat Dhaka district team by 2-1 goals at the same venue.
Mimo, Mussa Mia of Faridpur district team scored one goal each while Habul of Dhaka district team netted one goal each.
Bangladesh Navy will face Faridpur district team in the final at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
