Bangladesh Navy clinched the Anjan’s Independence Day Hockey title outplaying Bangladesh Air Force by 5-1 goals in the final at the Maulana Bhasani National Stadium here on Monday. Penalty corner specialist national coloured Mamunur Rahman Chayan struck three from his favorite penalty corners while Krishna Kumar Das and Kamruzzaman Ratan scored one each for the sailors’ team. Mahbubur Rahman scored the consolation for Air Force from a penalty stroke. National forward Rasel Mahmud Jimi was adjudged the best player of the tournament while krishna Kumar Das named as the highest scorer of the tournament.
