Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib returned home on Friday night after attending ’14th Defence Services Exhibition and Conference (DSA-2014)’ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and ‘Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS-2014)’ in China.
Forces chiefs of different countries, high-ranking civil & military officials and specialists on military arena attended the arms exhibition and conference held in Malaysia. The Navy Chief made courtesy call on navy chiefs of different countries on the occasion of naval symposium in China.
He also visited Wuhan in China to see the progress of corvette class battle ship building project there. The ship is under construction for Bangladesh Navy.
A three-member delegation including the wife of Vice Admiral M Farid Habib had left Dhaka for Malaysia and China on April 13.
