Valiant freedom fighter and retired Chief Petty officer (PP-1) of Bangladesh Navy, Subhas Ratan Barua, son of Late Sachindra Lal Barua, Majhir bosti ,Rangamati municipality breathed his last Tuesday, 3rd August,2021 at 11.45 am at the Chattogram Military Hospital (CMH).
He had been suffering from the Brain Haemorrhage for a long time. Teams of Chattogram District Commissioner Office, Bangladesh police and Bangladesh Navy gave him “Guard of honour” as a freedom fighter and in memory of his service at Bangladesh Navy.
He was cremated at Chattogram City Corporation Buddhist Crematorium after all rituals. He left behind his wife, his two sons and many more close relatives.
