UNB, Natore :An activist of Swechhasebok League was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants in Lalpur upazila on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Ashraf Ali, 38, son of Bayes Uddin of Bilsalia village.Police said, some miscreants stabbed Ashraf, the religious affairs secretary of the upazila unit of Swechhasebok League and fled the scene, leaving him dead near a graveyard.Later, local people spotted the body on Thursday morning and informed police.Additional Police Super Munshi Shahabuddin confirmed the incident.The victim was wanted in several cases, he said.
