The final round of the Sixth National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad- 2014 was held at AF Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban (Math building) of the Dhaka University (DU) on Friday.
Bangladesh Mathematical Society (BMS) and Mujibur Rahman Foundation jointly organised the event to create an opportunity for young talented students across the country to shine and show their authority on mathematics.
Top 10, out of 60 students and also competitors were awarded with crests, certificates and Tk 10 thousand respectively.
Besides, rest 50 contestants were awarded certificates for competing final round on the event. The top ten awarded winners consequently were Sayful Islam of DU, Taibur Rahman of Khulna University, Shib Al Mehedi of BUET, Junaed Kamal of DU, Mir Emtiaz Mustafiz of BUET, Ahmed Nazim Uddin of BUET, Tariqul Islam of Uttara University, Jahangir Hossen of Jassore MM College, Nafiz Eftija Tripty of BUET and Lenin Chowdhury of Begum Rokeyea University.
