National Library day was observed at the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Monday with the slogan ‘Boi Pori Swadesh Gori’.
The authority of Badshah Fahad bin Abdul Aziz central library of the university organised the event with a colorful rally.
Marking the day, a colorful rally was brought out from the premises of central library with the participation of teachers, students and officials of the university. The rally paraded the main streets of the campus and ended at the same place.
IU VC Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif, IIER Director Professor Dr M Maher Ali, Acting Librarian M Ataur Rahman, among others, were present at the rally.
